Australian birds in an Eltham back yard

During the bushfires in Victoria in 2009, we had a larger number than usual of native birds visiting us in search of food and water. Since then, the wild bird population is back to normal, so I'm focussing more on our aviary birds for this blog.

Scarlet chested parrot chicks update.

Three weeks old and all five surviving!  We are so chuffed!
